What:
Welcome to the “Bull Ring” at Tyler
County Speedway. Monster
Trucks, Fireworks & Short Track Nationals all at the 4th
of July weekend’s “Eve of Destruction.” Friday July 3rd,
2009 come out to enjoy this fun, affordable family fun.
This event will feature Monster Jam’s Black Stallion and
Iron Warrior monster trucks, Kamikaze the Jet Powered
4-Wheeler, Extreme Freestyle Motocross, big time stock car
racing and Fireworks. |

Michael Vaters nationally known Black Stallion and Iron
Warrior will be on hand and competing in high octane car
crushing competition.
Kamikaze the jet powered 4-wheeler will exhibit its powerful
1500 horse power jet engines and strike awe into the crowd
with speed runs, thrust burner pops and shooting flames over
twenty five feet. Come out and witness the Kamikaze
incinerate a salvage car with its’ searing flames in
minutes. Freestyle Motocross riders will soar high above
the bullring with gravity defying extreme tricks and stunts
performed in mid-air while jumping 65’ gaps steel ramp to
steel ramp. |

At intermission we will salute America with a huge FIREWORKS
extravaganza as we celebrate the 4th of July
Tyler County Speedway style. For the kids there will be
a Monster Ride Truck to enjoy along with McDonald’s Kids
Club Picnic Olympics featuring sack races, watermelon eating
and more which will be held prior to the action getting
underway. For all the race fans the nation’s best mod lite
racers will compete in the 1st Annual Wayside
Furniture Mod Lite Short Track Nationals. FASTRAK Late
Models, Pure Stock, Junkyard Warriors and Mini Wedges will
showcase their skills throughout the evening. |

What:
Kia Motors “The Power to Surprise” presents the KIA
MONSTER TRUCK SHOW at the Motor Mile Speedway on
Saturday July 4th, 2009 at 8 pm. Come out to see
the heart pounding high octane monster truck action,
Kamikaze the jet powered 4-wheeler, Extreme Freestyle
Motocross, Fireworks celebration and much more. |

The full night of family fun begins at the Motor Mile
Speedway with the 1st Annual Independence Chili
Festival from 2pm to 6 pm with a first prize of $1000. All
proceeds from the Chili Festival will go to Pathway
Christian School. Pre-Race entertainment from 6:30-7:30 pm
featuring performing artist Matt Jones and Abi Lester. The
KIA MONSTER TRUCK SHOW brought to you by Kia Motors
“The Power to Surprise” starts at 8:00 pm showcasing Monster
Jam World Freestyle Champion Jim Koehler “Mr. Excitement”
driving Avenger as well as Monster Jam competitors Black
Stallion, Brutus, Iron Warrior, Screamin’ Demon and Killer
Bee. Come out to see the monster trucks race elimination
round style to determine the champion of the night. The
trucks will also compete in wheelie and the crowd favorite
annihilation freestyle. If this doesn’t cure your need for
speed, power and destruction Kamikaze the jet powered
4-wheeler will exhibit its 25 foot flames as it performs
speed runs, burner pops and burns a junk car to the ground.
If all of this isn’t enough we also will have the popular
Extreme Freestyle Motocross action as our rider jumps 60
foot gaps steel ramp to ramp on a dirt bike performing sick
tricks in midair. The evening of thrills and destruction
will wind up with a salute to the USA with a Fireworks
Extravaganza. |
